Our History
In 2001, our company, Energy Trading, began as a wholesaler and later established its subsidiary, Interior House (Pvt) Ltd, on November 23, 2007. The subsidiary aimed to become a leading provider of light fixtures and had a prominent showroom in Sri Lanka. Recognizing the need for high-end luxury lighting supplies, the company founded Light Box (Pvt) Ltd on April 5th, 2014, with official registration on June 19th, 2014. Following this, we inaugurated the project headquarters and a premium showroom in Rajagiriya.
After four successful years, the Light Box store relocated to a larger space on Nawala Road to better cater to clients, while the project section shifted to Nugegoda. In 2021, the company’s board and management decided to expand its offerings. Introducing a new section within the Light Box Projects team, comprising electrical engineers, quantity surveyors, civil engineers, and electrical workers, this expansion enabled us to provide ELV MEP services, along with installation services, smart home systems, building automation systems, switches, and solar power supply, thereby facilitating further growth
